The Texas PLO Roundup $3,300 Main Event continued from Champions Club in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, featuring a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Day 1D saw the largest field of the series, attracting a total of 108 entrants and adding $324,000 to the prize pool to bring the total so far to $771,000. With two more flights left to play, the $1,000,000 guarantee is in sight. Vito Qingyu Lu built the series' first seven-figure stack and leads the field with 1,427,000, describing the feeling of being the overall tournament chip leader as "better than sex." Behind him is Sterling Savill with 1,018,000, and rounding out the podium is Michael Cox with 596,000.
The unfortunate bubble boy was LaDarren Banks when he got a big draw all-in against Dean Ostera's kings. Banks had ace-queen-king-ten against Ostera's king-king-queen-nine on a jack-nine-five flop. Unfortunately for Banks, the board bricked out, and the 14 survivors were onto Day 2.
All Day 1 survivors will combine for Day 2 on Sunday, November 23rd, at 3 p.m. CT and be in the money. Prize pool and payout info will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
At the season's end, the top 40 eligible players on the PGT leaderboard will qualify for the PGT Championship. The 2025 PGT $1,000,000 Championship will be a $1,000,000 freeroll with a $500,000 first-place prize. Along with the top 40 eligible players, limited PGT Championship "Dream Seat” winners will be awarded through special events and promotions. Information on the Dream Seat promotions can be found here.
